If It Wasn't 4 Da' Blues is a song I wrote sbout how I feel about
the so-called people who run our music, and also speaks about
the love of the music that I play.

2) Da' Coldest Man I Ever Knew - By James Montgomery
Da' Coldest Man is about my father the late James "Da' Chief"
Montgomery. He was everything 2 me & I miss him so much.

3) Never Loved Any1 Like U - By James Montgomery
Never Loved Any1 was written about someone very special
who came N 2 my life @ a period when I was really down.

4) Low Down Dirty Blues - By James Montgomery
Low Down Dirty Blues was written 'N my car in the parking lot
of the grocery store by my house!

5) I Like Your Style - By L. Williams
I Like Your Style was written 4 me by 1 of my good friends and a
very talented entertainer 'N his own right Mr. Lee "Shot" Williams
and is my personal favorite on this CD!

6) 8 Men, 4 Women - By D. Malone
This is probably 1 of the greatest "soul" songs ever written and was originally done by my idol da' late O.V. Wright, da' greatest soul singer who ever lived!

7) Qualified 2 Satisfy - By G.Clinton, E.Hazel, B.Nelson
Qualified 2 Satisfy is an old funkadelic tune that not 2 many people
were up on, but I thought should've been heard more.

8) Chains & Thangs - By B.B. King, Dave Clark
Chains & Thangs was a song originally done by B.B. King, but I first heard it done by Little Milton when I was a member of his band & this is his arrangement.

9) A Happy Fool - By James Montgomery
A Happy Fool is a song about how I'd hear about people who were in love with someone and other people would say they were a fool 4 this person. So I said OK, If I'm gonna B a fool, I'm gonna B a Happy Fool!!!

10) Da' Best Love I Never Had - By James Montgomery
I wrote this @ about 5am 'N my garage after coming home from a gig. I always heard people talk about the best love they ever had so, I thought I'd talk about da' best I NEVER had!!!

11) I'm Goin' Home (2 Live With God) Traditional Goin' Home is an old gospel tune I 1st heard sung by Mahalia Jackson, But I wanted 2 do my way & also 2 show people that I'm versatile. So many people always ask me Did I grow up singin' 'n church, and although I never did, I wanted 2 let them know I could if I wanted 2.

So, that sums up my 2nd CD and I hope U like it.
But remember - Da' Best Is Yet 2 Come!!!
